On Sunday BTS wasn't selected as the Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 63rd Grammy Awards. Army (BTS fandom) is undeterred, though. They are showing their support and love. Some have been streaming Dynamite non-stop - getting very little sleep. BTS must be feeling the love. Their sales have skyrocketed since Sunday night's performance at the Grammys, selling a hefty 10,500 copies on that day alone. Some may argue that they won after all.
BTS has made international music history in many ways. They are the first Korean Pop band to perform their own song at the Grammy Awards ceremony. According to Forbes "With one more week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200, BTS further their lead as the musical act with the most frames in charge of the all-genre tally." Considering the way their sales are going BTS is likely to break the tie they had in January for "Dynamite".
"BTS’s biggest hit yet is now tied as the song with the most turns at No. 1 on the worldwide list, and it is just the second track to make it to a quartet of spins atop the ranking." - Forbes
Their global hit "Dynamite" also holds a record for most (non-consecutive) weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200. So far it has been 3 times, but Army is making every effort to help them beat their own record with a 4th week!
